Alpacas of Peaceful Glen frequently offers alpaca education by way of seminars or hands-on workshops to assist persperctive owners in getting the information needed to make an informed decision.  We also offer individual hands on training for our customers for as long as they need it.  Just remember that our success is due to your success.

Start Up ABCs of Alpacas

The workshop will be offered on an individual schedule.  Call us to schedule a date for your personal alpaca workshop.

This is the workshop that you will not want to miss.  The day will be full of information based on 11 years of alpaca experience.  The day will include:

 This seminar will give you the opportunity to learn the basics about getting your alpaca dream off to a successful beginning.  We will answer any questions you have.  Take a tour of our farm and meet our alpaca family.

Make your reservations early.  We limit the number of participants - we want you to get personal attention.  The full day workshop with continental breakfast, lunch and workbook is $35 per person and $60 per couple.  Since spring is such a busy time for everyone,  we will arrange workshops for a group or for individuals as necessary.

After a day of alpacas, join us as our guest for a cheese and wine tasting.  Other refreshments will be available.

Alpaca Care Workshop

This workshop is designed to let you have a hands-on experience with alpacas after a class.  General care and maintenance, feeding and supplements, breeding and birthing  will be presented.

This workshop is open/free to the public.  Please give us a call to arrange a time and date for you to attend.  We like to keep the classes small in order to give attention to each participant. The picture at the side is from one of many workshops that we conducted.

MARKETING YOUR ALPACAS 

This workshop is designed to give you information about the various ways you can market your alpacas.  From the beginning of your alpaca journey, marketing should be part of your business plan.  Part of this workshop was presented at AOBA National Conference in 2005.
